Account Deletion
This page explains how a Notesy user can request deletion of their account and associated data.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Email info@ruckupmedia.com from the email address associated with your Notesy account.
- Use the subject line Notesy Account Deletion Request.
- Include any details that help identify your account, such as your Notesy sign-in email.
What Data Is Deleted
- Your Notesy account profile and associated authentication record.
- Cloud-synced notes, attachments, and related account data associated with that account, where applicable.
- Subscription status records stored in the app backend profile for that user, where applicable.
What Data May Be Retained
- Records we are required to keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, or regulatory reasons.
- Limited backup data for a short retention period before it is overwritten or deleted in the normal backup cycle.
- Transaction records maintained by payment providers such as Google Play or Stripe under their own legal obligations and retention policies.
Retention Period
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. Some retained records may be stored for longer if required by law or for legitimate security and financial recordkeeping purposes.
